The Gathering at Given is typically held the first Thursday of each month at 3:30 pm and lasts for about forty-five minutes, with a Q & A period and refreshments afterwards.  It is free and open to the public.  Recent Gatherings have featured Carol Dowd from Botanicals, Sherry Mortensen of  The Faded Rose who discussed selecting apparrel for travel and demonstrated a wrinkle-free way of packing, John Derr, Jaime Diaz, and Jim Moriarty spoke about covering professional golf for the media,  Dolores Muller, Master Gardener, Mark Elliott of Elliott’s on Linden, and Bob and Jane Forsyth, dog breeders and judgers.  Please send us an e-mail if you would like to be reminded about our Gatherings.

April 1, 2010 – Container Gardening by Linda Hamwi, local Master Gardener, will talk about container gardening and will share many tips that will make your container gardens more successful.
