Reciving check from Richard

Richard Mandell presents a check to Audrey Moriarty, Executive Director, in support of the Tufts Archives operations.

The Tufts Archives is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.  We do not receive government funding, and earn money for operations through fund-raising activities, sale of archival images, and donations from our supporters.  A major goal of the Tufts Archives is to protect and preserve the over 100,000 photographic images, original Donald Ross  field sketches and golf course layout drawings, Pinehurst Outlook newspapers, archival maps, and artifacts in our collection.  We make information available and to share it with the public.  Scanning oversize documents and photos is an expensive and time consuming operation.  We need your help to be able to continue the work of preservation.  Your gift will make a difference.

Donations may be made to the Tufts Archives, PO Box 159, Pinehurst, NC 28370.  We accept personal checks, Master Card or Visa. Please call 910-295-3642 / 866-307-0665, email us or donate online below.

Our volunteers are matched to their interests as much as possible.  Volunteers do research, file and record documents, scan graphics and images, work on displays and projects, offer tours and information, and always have a good time.  Volunteers choose their projects and set their own schedules.

The Tufts Archives frequently has fundraising events.  We have held golf tournaments at the Centennial Course No. 8, and sponsored the Art of Golf for several years.  We also frequently give presentations and tours to large and small groups.  Your support by attending our events helps us financially, but also helps to educate and inform the community about our wonderful museum and the unique and fascinating history of the Village of Pinehurst.
