The “Pinehurst Outlook” was the Pinehurst newspaper, started in 1897, and owned and published by James Walker Tufts.  In the beginning, The Outlook was published weekly during the season.  For several years, the first issue of the season featured an Art Deco type drawing on the cover.  Examples of these covers are showcased in this gallery.
